I love the red though. Personally I'd prob take the 530i from a driving point of view, more kit, more grunt, but the 325i on its looks. My one is about 25mpg. But my one is estate and is little bit heavier. On motorway is about 38 mpg on 75-80 mph.

For example the 280 hp VW/audi 6 cyl can be chipped to gain a measly 8 hp, while the 2.0T VW/audi motor can be chipped for 25, 50, 70 hp, by uppting the turbo boost. The 330i engine is a pretty high
Any option will be perfectly fine theyre all known for reliability compared to other models like 335i but I'd definitely avoid 325i just because the 328i and 330i are better. Thanks. The 328 is the cheapest version from the 3, since is the most common. 330 are expensive around 9000$ vs 5000-7000$ that cost 328 and 325.
1. BMW Performance Exhaust. 2. BMW Performance Intake. The stock horse power for my car is 268hp. Before the remap, the car dyno'd at 271.8hp. Pretty realistic considering the car probably lost a few HP since new (it's a December 2007) and exhaust and intake adds around 5hp. After the remap it dyno'd at 284.5hp.

Average Economical Life Expectancy in an E90. For no better reason than guestimating and past experiences, I established this at 7 years / 115000 miles. At that point, I think that it will still bring 9000$ to my pockets for the next one. I prefer this than having to spend 1500$ on A/C or 2000$ on a catalytic converter.
The 325 and 330 actually have exactly the same motor. The difference that bumps the power in the 330 is software programming and a more advanced air induction system. They both have the same transmission whether it is a manual or automatic. Sport package cars have larger wheels and a lowered, firmer suspension.
